I am so excited to share with you that my first ever print book is finally available to order.
Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that I would write a cookbook one day. But I am so glad I did and I cannot wait for you to see it. I have a newfound appreciation for any author out there because I just realized first hand the amount of work, sweat, and tears that go into writing a book, especially as a first-time author.
A little over a year ago I was lying in my bed trying to fall asleep and I suddenly had this idea to write a book with healthy holiday recipes for people with food restrictions. So I got up and wrote my first outline that night. A few days later I got an email from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) about their Launch your Dream Book Course. Coincidence??? We will never know. 🙂
I am the type of person that has these kinds of in the middle of the night revelations and ideas quite often, but I rarely follow through. So the timing of that email was perfect and it gave me the push to really go for it. So thank you IIN!
Fast forward to 1 year later and I am finally done. It took me a lot longer than I anticipated and I will share more about that in another blog post.
As someone who has food restrictions myself, special occasions and particularly the holidays tend to be a tricky time. I wanted to share my favorite recipes with you so that you too can enjoy festive times without regrets and deprivation. My goal with this book is for everyone to dig in regardless of food restrictions.
